Anyone know if air fryers actually make crispy french fries?
My husband loves fries. He's half Irish, so ... he loves ALL the taters.
His ancestors emigrated to this country during The Great Irish Tater Tot Shortage in the mid 1800s or something. What a terrible tragedy. My guess ... they heard about McDonalds adding hashbrowns to their breakfast menu, so they packed up their tin whistles, and came to 'Murica ... the land of waffle fries.
They mistook the shining beacon on a hill for a french fry warmer lamp, and the rest is history.
(I obviously missed my calling as a high school history teacher.)
But seriously, do air fryers even work? I neeeed to know.
