Happy Festivus, for those who celebrate. In case you didn’t know … December 23rd is Festivus.
My own family’s holiday season is a touch complicated. Half my dad’s family is Jewish, the other Italian. (They’re of the Brooklyn eye-talian variety. The kind that insist you call mozerella “mootzahrelllll”.)
In my dad’s family, they didn’t know whether it was time to play spin the holly, or deck the dradels. Festivus would have been a good compromise.
